Best Life\u2122

Helping ageing parents on their terms.

The role-reversal is rarely simple. We help adult children navigate care planning, family meetings, ageing-in-place and end-of-life preparation with their parents \u2014 thoughtfully, never sombrely.

Overview

The hardest call most families never make.

The signs are usually quiet at first. A missed appointment. A repeated story. A drive that no longer feels safe. Adult children sense that the time is coming for a different kind of conversation — but rarely know who to call, or how to begin.

We do. Quietly, on your terms, alongside the rest of your family.

Where we help

Coordinating care assessments and in-home support. Comparing aged-care providers and arranging transitions. Facilitating family meetings between siblings, partners and parents. Preparing powers of attorney and care directives. Recording family history before it is lost. Easing the practical and emotional weight of the next decade.

An independent ally

We are not a care provider, financial planner, or aged-care broker. We are an independent advisor — your family's ally — coordinating the right specialists at the right time, with no undisclosed commissions and no agenda beyond your parents' wellbeing.

Conversations, on the right day

The right conversation, at the right time, with the right person in the room, changes the next ten years for a family. That is what we are here to make possible.

Common Questions

Answers to the questions families ask first.

Are you an aged care broker?

No. We are an independent family advisor. We do not take commissions from care providers and our fee is paid by you.

Will you work with one sibling, or the whole family?

Either. Many of our engagements start with one adult child and expand into a facilitated family conversation involving siblings and parents.

How does this fit with our parents' financial adviser?

It complements them. We coordinate with existing advisers and provide the family, care and organisational layer they cannot easily deliver themselves.
